Saudi Arabia’s King Salman Energy Park (Spark) has assigned a major contract for the construction of a road, the company said in a tweet.
“The agreement covers the construction of a road link the energy city and its dry port with the Dhahran-Abqaiq highway,” the tweet said.
Located between Dammam and Al-Ahsa in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern region, Spark is a three-phase 50km square hub for energy, industrialization, and technology that will report Phase 1 construction completed in 2021. Phase 1 range 12km square, with investments totaling $1.6bn.
The 23-kilometer road comprises two lanes in all directions, and will also intercross with the project’s rail bridge.
“The road will support Spark tenants’ logistics and reform their competitiveness,” the tweet added.
Located between Dammam and Al-Ahsa in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern region, Spark is a 50kilometer square hub for energy, industrialization, and technology that will sight Phase 1 construction completed in 2021.
When completed, the project will comprise 15,000 residential units of apartments, villas, and complexes, in addition to 400 hotel rooms, educational, health, and accommodation facilities.
