Saudi Electricity Company revealed bid results for the project” Construction of 380kV Overhead Transmission line in Qiddiya ”. The location of the project is in the Qiddiya area, the Central Region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
A total of nine bidders has submitted the proposals. Saudi based Al Haider Company for Trading and Contracting has submitted the lowest bid value SAR 52.9 million.
Project Scope of Work comprises design and construction of one 380kV double circuit Overhead Transmission Line, approx 20.25 km ACSR “Condor” type conductors per phase, along with OPGW and Optic Fiber cables as part of Portion 1.
Design and construction of one 380kV Double Circuit Overhead Transmission Line, around 23.85 km ACSR “Condor” type conductors per phase, along with OPGW and Optic Fiber cables as part of Portion 2.
Scope of Work also comprise dismantling of current 380kV Double Circuit Overhead Transmission Line
The contractor shall execute the project on a lump-sum turnkey basis, comprise the design, engineering, material procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, and all involved work and services until final handing over the project.
Project Completion period is 18 months.
