Saudi Arabia Opening of Prince Nayef Road in Dammam

Today, the Eastern Province Municipality opens Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Road in Dammam, after the Municipality has completed all development work in all its stages, and the Municipality thanked all citizens and residents for their cooperation during the work period.

The Municipality revealed that the work plan for the rehabilitation and development of Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Road in Dammam included the maintenance of asphalt layers, sidewalks, and the middle island, with a length of 2800 linear meters in both directions, as part of the road maintenance project in Dammam.

Essam Al-Mulla stated that work on rehabilitation and development began by removing the road during the month of June of last year, and the project included four work stages with a total length of 8,900 linear meters in both directions. The works include removing all pavement layers, transferring and extending services, individualizing and treating four layers of the foundation, re-asphalting with two layers, complete modification of sidewalks and parking lots, re-paints, installation of safety devices and agricultural basins.

He said that after that, the straightening of the stone materials and the asphalt layer was started, thus completing the last stage of the entire road.

The second phase of the works was the closure of Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Road completely north from the intersection of King Saud bin Abdulaziz Street to the intersection of King Abdulaziz Street, for a period of thirty days, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic in the Eastern Region by adopting alternative roads.

Al-Mulla is that the person coming from Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Road from south to north can take King Saud Road towards Road 28 towards the north, then King Abdulaziz Road to Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Road, and for those coming from Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Road from the north to the south, take the Prince Bridge Nayef bin Abdulaziz from the top to the south, and for those coming from the Jubail – Dhahran expressway to Al Khudriyah, use the turnover point before the intersection of King Saud bin Abdulaziz Road with Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Road, and for the next coming from King Saud bin Abdulaziz Road from east to west heading Prince Nayef Road Bin Abdulaziz uses the Umar bin Abdulaziz road diversion towards King Abdulaziz Road, and for someone coming from Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Road from the south to the north up to Al Khudriyah or Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Road in the north, he must use a turnover point before the Toyota signal or continue to Road 28, reaching Prince Nayef Road Bin Abdulaziz.
