Saudi Arabia’s Al Widyan Saudi Real Estate Company (Al Widyan Co.), revealed the tender for construction 132/13.8kV Substation and 380kV Underground Cable Project. Project located in Riyadh, Central zone of Saudi Arabia.
The project scope of works comprises the construction of a new indoor 132/13.8kV Substation. Major equipment comprises 132kV GIS, 67MVA Power Transformers, Protection and Substation Automation System, Telecommunication System, Civil works, and Electro-mechanical works. Involved 380kV Underground cables and 132kV Cables between the new substations are part of the project.
The Contractor shall execution on Lump-sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site oversight, testing and commissioning, all involved work and services until final handing over of substation work in a satisfactorily working and operating term. The project ending period is 18 months. At current bid submission date is 30 August 2020. During 2018, Al Widyan assigned SAR 1.1 billion infrastructure contracts to Saudi based construction firms, BINYAH for the development of 7 million Sq.m northern growth corridor of Riyadh.
