The UK based Oil & Gas Company, Lamprell announced in a statement that, its site services business secured an engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning contract, EPIC involves the Mahani gas and condensate field in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
The project has been assigned by Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC).
The engineering and construction company did not provide the actual value of the contract but specified that as per its classification, the medium-sized project is in the range of USD 6 million to USD 50 million.
Lamprell’s scope of work is specific to the Mahani expanded Well Test project and comprises hook-up and installation at the well, existing systems upgrade, associated tie-ins, and a new 25 km export pipeline.
The project completeion will be in early 2021.
Earlier, during January 2020, SNOC and its partner Eni revealed the discovery if the onshore Mahani field.
