Saudi Electricity Company issued a tender for the “Construction of 230kV Overhead Transmission line (OHTL) for Jafurah Gas Plant”.
The project located is in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia.
Jafurah Gas Plant 230 kV OHTL:
This project has divided into three-part:
Portion 1:
Scope of Work for Portion 1 of the project includes the design and construction of two (2) 230kV OHTL from HMYM-3 GCP Substation to HMYM-4 GCP Substation.
Approx OHTL route length is 13.86 km.
Portion 2:
Scope of Work for Portion 2 of the project includes the design and construction of two (2) 230kV OHTL from Jafurah Gas Plant Substation to HZEM-1 GCP Substation.
Approx OHTL route length is 99.73 km.
Portion 3:
Scope of Work for Portion 3 of the project includes the design and construction of two (2) 230kV OHTL from Jafurah Gas Plant Substation to HMYM-3 GCP Substation.
Approx OHTL route length is 52.07 km.
Once the project completed, Jafurah Gas Plant’s substation will be linked to the national grid network.
The project consists of using 2-795 kcmil ACSR/AW CONDOR conductor per phase and two (2) OPGW along with the distance of the new line.
The Contractor shall perform on Lump-sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all involve work and services until final handing over of new OHTL work in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.
The contractor need to complete the project activities within 29 months from the date of the contract award.
At Present, the bid opening date is 29 March 2020.
