Saudi Electricity Company revealed bid results for the project expansion of 380kV Substation at Madain, Umluj, and Yanbu. Alfanar Construction has submitted the lowest $44193980 bid. The project locations are in the western region of Saudi Arabia.
The Contractor shall perform on Lump-sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of substation work in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.
Madain project scope of work includes 380kV Hybrid Gas Insulated Switchgear, 380kV, 80MVAr line reactors. Addition/modifications of protection, control, and Telecommunication will part of the project. Umluj the project scope of work includes 380kV GIS expansion, 380kV Hybrid Gas Insulated Switchgear, 380kV, 80MVAr, 60MVAr reactors. Addition/modifications of protection, control, and telecommunication will part of the project. Yanbu the project scope of work includes 380kV Hybrid Gas Insulated Switchgear, 380kV, 60MVAr line reactors. Addition/modifications of protection, control, and Telecommunication will part of the project.
The contractor needs to achieve the final acceptance of the works by 23 months from Contract Signing Date.
